A Special Thank You To
Local communications facilities were provided by FairPoint Communications both at the house site and the staging area at Hanover Skiway. FairPoint technicians did an outstanding job responding to the variety of needs as the project progressed.
Thank you FairPoint for providing "Extremely" fast service in such short notice and helping both EMHE and Trumbull-Nelson with reliable telephone service for this project.
On site - Day 5
Friday - Day 5 was my first on-site experience with EHME. Wow! Hats off to the Trumbull-Nelson crew and all tradesmen and volunteers putting in long hours to make this happen. Amidst the chaos there is a sense of order and purpose. Things are getting done!
Yeah-Yah
Unbelievable. There are sometimes when words just fail to describe what you've seen. This morning we had a hole in the ground. Now we have a house. At least it looks like a house, and it's not just framing -- we have the foundation, walls, roof -- plumbing, electrical, heating -- most all in place, ready to be connected. Insulation in, drywall going up...all in half a day. I left the site for an hour and missed whole story getting added.
Move Out Day
Wow, what day!
Thanks to so many amazing volunteers and the crew, the Marshall house was
cleared out today. In a matter of hours, the group of 60+ people packed
and removed clothing for a family of ten, toys of every description,
roughly 200 hockey sticks/skates/helmets and other pieces of sports
paraphernalia, every appliance and every piece of furniture, books galore,
plus of course the scores of framed masterpieces and other paintings,
drawings, poems, and inspirational quotes that tell the tale of this
family. Anything that could be donated went to COVER and other like
Proud to Have the Opportunity to Help Out
HP Roofing, LLC is very proud to have been selected by T-N to lead the roofing team for this project. The opportunity to collaborate with such a dedicated group of construction professionals and be of service to a deserving family in the Upper Valley is very exciting to our entire organization.

Wow, what a week!
I don't think we could have imagined the outpouring of support we've received from the community. In less than a week we over 1000 people contacted us to offer their assistance. At this point in time we do not need any more support volunteers -- but still need more experienced carpenters and other professionals. While we do not need any more support volunteer sign-ups now, we do anticipate that there will be some very specific needs for people at specific times, as well as needs from the design team for help. Please check back to the website for further updates.
